Jennifer Leigh Ebert, mother, wife, sister, daughter and friend, lost her life to Chordoma Brain Cancer on April 14, 2013. Her struggle was sudden and severe. Those of us around her felt helpless in the weeks before her passing. As the door closes on her life, another one opens. It’s the door of opportunity. The opportunity to help her husband Mark Ebert, son Zach Schwartz a 2012 graduate of Century HS, and her 10 year old twins Hunter and Shelby Ebert to cover the mounting medical and final expenses associated with this tragedy. Jenn famously created and ran various fundraisers benefiting other families in need. She was well known for this. Now it’s our turn to do the same for her.

Join the Carroll County Public Library for great reading, fun programs and special events this summer. Our summer reading themes:

Birth-5th Grade: Dig Into Reading!

Teen: Beneath the Surface

Adult: Groundbreaking Reads

The summer program runs Jun. 1, – Aug. 10, 2013.

For more information stop by your local library or check out our programs online at http://library.carr.org.

You can read magazines, newspapers, books from a school reading list, or any book that you like! The main thing is … READ! If someone can’t read yet, they’re never too young to join in the fun! Good listening counts for children who have not yet learned to read, and there are fun activities too. You can’t be too old, either, as there are programs for teens and adults. And it is free!

Go to your area branch or look online http://library.carr.org for program dates, kick-off events, sign-up information, and the many shows, crafts, events and programs to add to your summer fun.
