All Fields are closed due to weather and field conditions - no games or practices are allowed on any of our fields.

The JoeyDCares Rock Orchestra, in its 5th year, has been raising money and or awareness for charities since 2011.  Raising over $35,000 for causes like the Wounded Warrior Project, Carroll County Special Olympics and the Nathan Chris Baker Foundation.  It has also supporting such charities and walks as the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, MS, Christmas Village, Eldersburg Library, Carson Scholars, and many more!  More about the organization at:  www.JDCRockOrchestra.org

Inclement Weather Policy

PROCEDURES FOR FACILTY USE DURING INCLEMENT WEATHER
If the snow emergency plan is in effect, all CCPS and non-CCPS sponsored activities are canceled.

Schools Closed for the Day Due to Inclement Weather

Early Dismissal Due to Inclement Weather
Inclement Weather When Schools Remain Open

Activities on Non-School Days, Weekends and Holidays

If the snow emergency plan is in effect, activities are canceled.

If the snow emergency plan is not in effect, it is the decision of the principal.
If the snow emergency plan is in effect at 8 p.m. on the preceding day, all activities are canceled for the non- school day.

If the snow emergency plan is lifted after 8 p.m. on the preceding day and a school would like an exception to hold an activity or event, they must contact their school director.  If he/she agrees that the request rises to the level to warrant an exception, he/she will seek superintendent approval. (Note: Exceptions will not be made for routine games or practices. It must be an exceptional situation)

If the inclement weather begins on a non-school day and the snow emergency plan never goes into effect, it is the decision of the principal.

The Office of Community and Media Relations will be responsible for communicating all AlertNow messages regarding cancellations due to inclement weather.

TO CANCEL ALL CCPS AND COMMUNITY-SPONSORED ACTIVITIES IN CCPS FACILITIES
