Dance Attire & Guidelines

Stepping Stars Dance Program

Dance Attire:

2 year olds:	Black or pink leotard, light pink tights, light pink ballet shoes
3 year olds thru 6th gr:	Black leotards with light pink tights light pink ballet shoes, black low heeled tap shoes
7th grade: and up	Black leotards with light pink tights Light pink ballet shoes, 1 inch heeled tap shoes

Jazz participants may purchase black jazz oxfords
Dance skirts are optional
No jewelry is preferred, but small, non-dangling earrings are allowed.
No long necklaces or dangling bracelets.
Please note: Put your child's name on all shoes and skirts!!

Hair Guidelines:

All dancers should wear their hair away from the face.
A bun or ponytail is preferred for longer hair.

Please note the following:

NO GUM IS ALLOWED IN THE DANCE ROOM
Dancers may bring a shatterproof water bottle to class. No juice or soda.
Dance bags are acceptable for shoes.
Please label all belongings
Please accompany your child into the building when dropping off and picking up.
Please provide a note when someone other than a parent will pick up the child.
Light pink tights will be required for the recital.
